- I am running AMOS Creator on my Amiga 3000. One thing I notice is that the
- screen display seems to be a bit flaky...like its position is skewed to the
- left and I can't center it via any software control or prefernces that I
- can find (I'm running a 1950 monitor and NTSC pref).
-
- How do I go about upgrading to AMOS Pro?
-
- Finally, I have a MegaloSound sampler and have tried to play samples using
- AMOS, but with limited success. If I use the soundbank creator software,
- it will only handle small samples (since it puts the sample data into a
- string that is limited to a maximum of 64k in length) and it will not
- reliably allow me to store multiple short samples in one bank (it bombs if
- I try). I had tried to break my long samples into shorter ones, fill a
- bank with them, and then run a loop to play them end to end to achieve a
- long sample equivalent but I can't convert any thing except about 1 sec
- samples. I would relly like to play RAW samples, as this would allow me to
- play long samples, limited in length only by RAM (?) but I can't get it to
- play anything at all. Any quidance would be appreciated.
-
- I also wrote a fairly long piece of code (which I fortunately hasd backed
- up to a different name). Everything was fine. Then, suddenly when I went
- to edit the code, the source loaded, and when I tried to run or edit it,
- the entire listsing vanishes and I get a strnage mmessage (which I will
- replicate ande post when I get a chance). Any similar experiences?
-
- Is my overriding soultion to Upgrade to AMOS Pro?
